AMD gaps up on news. There was a huge bull bar followed by another with a tail and a 2 bar consolidation. Note that this was a very strong bullish day. But also note that at the consolidation (30-40 minutes) the stock did not go higher. It finally broke higher, consolidated again, tested the break level almost exactly, then went much higher for 2 hours.
There was a gap between the lows and the moving average. This was a strong day.
But the buyer had to patient to get a lot of this.
